What are spider veins?
Spider veins, called telangiectasia, are tiny capillaries beneath the skin’s surface that become visible with time. Although their presence does not affect your health, their appearance can be unpleasant. Some say telangiectasia looks like the branch of a tree, and some say a spider web.
Typically, spider veins appear on the legs, chest, hand, and face, but you can find them in other body parts. The cause of spider veins is due to unhealthy valves inside the feeder’s veins. As a result, these capillaries become non-functional leading to dead-end veins. A Spider vein will seldom cause health problems. However, they sometimes itch; in some people, they look more like a rash than distinct veins.
Spider Veins Laser Treatment
The laser’s energy heats the veins until they reach a temperature that makes them break down, then it will be naturally absorbed and eliminated from the body. The laser treatment is tolerable, you may experience a slight stinging that’s frequently described as feeling like a rubber band snap.
